Collaboration

Collaboration is the one of the keys to ensuring children receive the best and brightest instructional experience possible.  In the education world we need to identify best practices and share them amongst ourselves.  Our children are the beneficiaries of that selflessness.  In our efforts to create the best possible programs for LaFontaine Preparatory School, we set out on a journey to visit and tour some of the best pre-schools in the country. Our journey took us to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Salt Lake City. We have taken the best ideas from around the country and brought them to Richmond, KY.

LaFontaine Prep continues to foster a culture of collaboration through it's efforts with the Madison County Early Childhood Alliance. The Alliance is spearheaded by Madison County Public Schools. Partner schools are paired with county elementary schools to allow for maximum teamwork to help the children of Madison County reach a high level of achievement. During the 2011-2012 school year, LaFontaine Prep worked with White Hall Elementary in this collaborative capacity.

LaFontaine Preparatory School values their association with Madison County schools. Our membership in the Early Childhood Alliance is another way we are working to take our students to great heights.
